"After installing the acoustic tiles, we experienced a huge improvement. There is a tremendous difference in the sound before and after the noise reduction. Now the sound is sharper and clearer, and we are noticeably less worn out. The sound from television and films is also much clearer.”

"The curve for the reverberation time is very plain and below 0.6 seconds in all frequencies, the average reverberation time is 0.53 seconds. Speech clarity is very good."

We have used two different types of acoustic panels boards to achieve the desired reflection, diffusion or absorption of the sound. Of course, you need to have a small arsenal of different board types in order to adjust various acoustic elements to the objectives of a specific room or hall. Gyptone® BIG™ Line, for example, has acoustic properties that differ from Gyptone® Tile Quattro as it has a different type of perforation.”

"Ceilings are a vital part of any school building as they play a major role in determining the acoustic qualities of a room. Acoustics can have a huge effect on day-to-day school life, particularly in the classrooms. Here, it is important to optimise sound absorption. This helps to eliminate echo and minimise sound transmission between spaces to prevent disruptions from external sources that could impact on learning."

“The ceiling is a crucial building element. We consider three fundamental aspects when choosing ceilings: Aesthetics, overall economy, and functionality, including acoustics. We installed two different types of ceilings: A traditional soft material and a plasterboard ceiling. The result was that both types met the demands set forth by the Copenhagen Municipality of a reverberation time of 0.4. However, in an overarching economic perspective, the plasterboard is better because the surface is harder and therefore demand less maintenance."
