Where can I find EPDs for Gyptone® products?
Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for Gyptone® products are temporarily unavailable due to the relocation of our production facility. We expect new EPDs to be issued in late 2026 or early 2027. In the meantime, we refer to the manufacturer’s EPD for perforated plasterboard (PDF) as an interim solution.
Can you provide acoustic values for constructions not listed in the datasheets?
Yes. We have tested many additional constructions.
Just contact us, and we will check if the data for your specific system is available.
Can I improve the acoustic performance of a Gyptone® ceiling?
Yes. Installing mineral wool behind the perforated tiles increases absorption, especially in low frequencies.
Check the DATASHEETS for performance values.
Why is a minimum installation height specified?
This is to ensure safe installation conditions.
Installing below the minimum height may require special hangers or may prevent tiles from being inserted into the grid.
Can Gyptone® ceilings be installed at an angle or slope?
Yes:
- When screwed to a subframe → any angle is possible
- Tiles with edge A or E in T‑grids → up to 30°
- Tiles with edge D2 → up to 15°
What is the fire classification of Gyptone® products?
Most Gyptone® products are classified as A2‑s1,d0 (reaction to fire).
