Overhead waves for a very modern office

The entrance hall makes the first impression of any company. The structural redesign of the outdated office and reception area at the Rigips headquarters was intended to give the head office in the Styrian town of Bad Aussee a new, fresh appearance.

In the formerly dark corridors the acoustics were improved and the lighting was fundamentally reorganized – combining daylight and energy-saving LEDs. With the curved Gyptone BIG Curve ceiling construction in the staircase a characteristic architectural highlight was added to the entrance.

BIG Curve is a very flexible acoustic board that can be curved down to a radius of 1.2 meters.

Gyptone BIG Curve Sixto 63

Gyptone BIG Curve Sixo 63 is a sound-absorbing special plasterboard that is only 6.5 mm thick and therefore can be dry bent down to a radius of 2.2 meters. The board is perforated with hexagonal perforations that together with the acoustic backing tissue provide good acoustic properties.
