Remodeling of conference centre

Statoil Business Centre is a conference centre with room for up to 500 people for conferences and 378 for banquets. The centre has been serving as a reception and conference venue for Statoil since the late 80's. Now the centre is refurbished and expanded.

After remodelling, the centre has flexible meeting rooms and social event areas. Movable walls are used to rapidly change room size and function.

The restaurant has capacity for 232 people. The new centre also holds an auditorium, a movie room, lounge and a VIP section. Statoil’s guidelines for colours and materials formed the basis throughout the project.

The purpose of the choice of colour, materials, interior building elements, surfaces, special design, etc. is to create an atmosphere of contrasts, giving its users positive room experiences.
