Europe’s first resort destination
Resort World has been built within the National Exhibition Centre campus. This £150 million pound project is one of the country’s largest integrated destination venues, and Europe’s first resort destination.
The ceilings played a large part in providing contrast in addition to the required acoustic absorption. The different ceiling ranges deliberately used, meant a visually contrast was created between the different areas of use.
This allowed Rigitone and Gyptone to sit happily adjacent to one another. An example of this is the main entrance. It has a Rigitone ceiling and this flows into the QUATTRO ceiling forming the ceiling of the Retail Mall.
