Stunning hotel in Bergen
The Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Bergen, Norway, is an award-winning building. Its characteristic architecture naturally blends in with the historic environment at Bryggen, the stunning UNESCO world heritage site flanking the city’s harbour.
Comprising 263 rooms, a selection of restaurants and large meeting facilities, the hotel was originally built in 1982, before undergoing a renovation and new-build process between 2010 and 2013.
Acoustic solutions from Gyptone
The hotel is located close to the wood-covered storehouses facing the harbour, sympathetically complementing the historic waterfront setting.
Gyptone BIG Quattro 41 tiles were mounted on some of the ceilings inside to create a more comfortable acoustic environment.
