Passive house with low energy consumption
This private residence in Halden, Norway, has been constructed as a passive house having an extremely low energy consumption.
However, it is a completely build, and as with many modern houses, this means many cold and hard surfaces which, among other problems, has acoustic issues.
For that reason, the owner (and architect), Jostein Mølnerød, chose to mount Gyptone acoustic tiles in the ceilings.
An other reason for this solution was the aesthetic qualities, the elegant perforations, of the Gyptone Tiles.
