The former Faculty of Economics and Commerce building in Piazza Arbarello has been fully restored and refurbished. The historic building is now home to the “Fondazione Collegio Carlo Alberto”, a prestigious economic, social and legal research body managed by Compagnia di San Paolo and the University of Turin.

The former Great Hall on the ground floor is the core of the new design. This indoor public space, in the style of a university common room, is the stunning culmination to a series of period rooms that lead from Piazza Arbarello along the building’s longitudinal axis.

The hall is attractively illuminated by the glass installed to replace the old ceiling, and is enhanced by stylish false ceilings made from curved, perforated Gyproc Gyptone Big Curve Activ’Air® Sixto 63 plasterboard panels.
