Gyptone Xtensiv system
Innovative design with new formats and edge combinations
Although very light and thin – only 10mm – the new Gyptone Xtensiv boards are easily installed using the simple and stable Cross Lock Unipro 24mm grid system. This makes them an ideal solution for halls, auditoriums, hallways, and other indoor facilities with large ceiling areas.
Gyptone Xtensiv tiles are fully demountable. The tiles can be easily demounted, making them especially suited for corridors where easy access to installations is required. Weighing only 7 kg/m2, they are also relatively easy to move around.
Attractive appearance
These long, slim lightweight boards have good acoustic performance and an attractive appearance, with visible longitudinal rails. They are available in a broad range of formats. The white surface is smooth and the boards have a perforation pattern which, together with the acoustic backing tissue, ensures documented, acoustic properties.
If needed, the surface can be repainted, and maintenance is easy. Simply wipe down using a damp cloth with a mild cleaning agent.
Good acoustic comfort
All Gyptone ceilings include Activ'Air technology designed to decompose formaldehyde emissions from building materials, paint, furniture, carpets, cleaning agents and more – improving indoor air quality.
There are no chemical emissions from Gyptone Xtensiv or any other Gyptone products. They are 100% recyclable and have long life spans. In addition, the Gyptone products have been awarded very strong third party EPDs (environmental product declarations), and they are placed in the highest fire rating class according to CE-Marking.
