Hotel Sankt Petri

Denmark

Transformation to luxury

This project involved the conversion of an old warehouse, Daells Varehus, in Copenhagen, into the four-star Hotel Sankt Petri. There are now 270 hotel rooms, a restaurant and meeting rooms, as well as shops on the ground floor.

The warehouse was designed in the 1930s by the well-known Danish architects Vilhelm Lauritzen as a functional but impressive building. When the warehouse was forced to close, TK Development saw new opportunities. The building has now been successfully restored as a luxury hotel – with comfortable acoustics based on Gyptone solutions – while preserving the original design of the building.
