Suspended fixing on steel base GK(CD)-system in one level

Used for all Gyptone products with edge type B1.

Gyptone BIG boards edge type B1 with tapered edges on all four sides are
screwed to steel battens. Timber battens are used directly under the existing
construction.

Fixing to steel sections can be done either directly or via hangers. The boards are
filled and painted after fixing and are not demountable.

Loading

The boards normally withstand moderate point loading (<3 kg). For higher loads,
or if there is a risk of heat transfer to the connections, fixing should be done to sections behind or via a transom to a primary section. Alternatively, the load should be suspended separately.
